Connecting With God Series Begins

I’m starting a new category on CookieAisle.com called “Connecting With God.” In order to really taste and see God’s goodness, we must first spend quality time with him. I will post answers from several sources. Feel free to add your experiences in the comment section. I hope visitors can draw encouragement from this section. In the next few months, I will be posting a few other experiments.

One solid promise that I always keep mind, God will never leave you nor forsake you (Joshua 1:5). If we are feeling disconnected, often times the problem has to do with our lack of intimacy with God. We have to make it our choice to connect with God during the entire week, not simply waiting for a Sunday morning experience. You have to make time to study His Word and talk to him daily.

Thanks to Sunday school, many of us know the fruit of the Spirit by heart. However, as we mature in Christ we realize that knowing the fruit of the Spirit is a whole lot easier than producing it within the context of our relationships with God and others. Taste and See

A few years ago, I came across the following acronym, Pray Until Something Happens (P.U.S.H.). I keep the same sticky note I wrote it on next to my desk area. The stickiness has left the back, but scotch tape still keeps it in view.
